Applied Learning Conference: Empower Your Students to Succeed

This earner of this badge attended a mini version of Erin Gruwell and the Freedom Writers’ presentation of their Teachers’ Institute at the Freedom Writers’ Foundation in California, with support from the NCC Foundation, Office of Student Activities, and the Applied Learning and Faculty Development Committees of the Academic Senate. The goals of the interactive conference were to provide teachers with strategies for student success, student engagement and to foster an inclusive atmosphere.
